Here's what feels like my monthly blog update! We've spent January and February going through the trials of childcare. Awful! More on that later.
Emma had her 9 month checkup in January. She was 28 1/2 inches long (75%), the same length as her last checkup, and 15 lbs 7 ounces (5%). Because her weight gain was a little slow, her doctor has us supplementing with formula. I think she has chubbed up in the last few weeks. And we're into more of a routine of real food! I skipped the baby food and just feed her whatever we eat. She loves it.
Emma finally has a tooth! One, lonely little tooth on the bottom, but it's something. She has her two top teeth bulging, and I think the other bottom tooth is trying to come in, so we've had a little teething bear on our hands. Why does the teething have to be so bad at NIGHT??? =)

Wow, I'm really impressed that you skipped baby food all together and don't even use a food mill! It took us quite a while to transition Colten completely to our food. I thought Andrew was able to watch Emma during the day? Any luck with child care? And I hear you about the groundhog...
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on this darn weather!! She's getting so big-and wow, how nice to not deal with baby food at all:) Emma probably loves the new textures and flavors! Hope teething gets better...we had the worst time with Avery so I very much understand how rough it can be. Any luck with the right childcare?
