For the last couple weeks, we have switched to full-time panties, and only a diaper at night, which stays dry about half the time. (Yay!) And, so far, if she misses it's only once a day. On Sunday morning, she refused to sit on the potty for me, so I let her go back to playing. Not even 5 minutes later...I heard it hitting my floor....soooo glad we got rid of our carpet. THEN she wanted to go to the potty. Arg! Later she actually said "peepee" when she needed to go! Both mom and dad danced a funny jig for Emma.
Of course, now how do you travel with a potty training toddler??? I'm open to suggestions! I feel like I'm back to packing a full diaper bag, except it has a little potty seat, extra pants & underwear, and plenty of wipes to clean a mess! We went out and did our shopping Saturday, and she didn't miss, but I was stressed and waiting for an embarrassing puddle to hit the floor. I was checking her every few minutes, while she did perfectly fine and thought I was acting crazy. I'm starting to relax during the drive to and from daycare... but I'm waiting for the day when I have to clean up her car seat.
We're settling back into the work schedule. She cries when I drop her off--so I feel miserable and guilty every morning. We had a short stretch of a month or so when she was perfectly fine at drop off. I haven't been able to try out her snow suit yet and see how she really likes the snow--but they're starting to make a big deal out of some snow that is expected late this week. Until then, enjoy this warm January! It feels like spring! =)
First day back to work/daycare, just wore her out! She decided to climb onto the coffee table for a rest...
Trying to bottle feed and burp Hickory. Our cat, Casper, was her first victim. After he ran off...there was Hickory, just waiting for her..
Still loving a basket of clean blankets!
