So I finally took my first "belly picture." I wish I had done one as a starting point, but I didn't think that far ahead. There wasn't much of a belly to take a picture of until the last couple of weeks when it seemed she wanted to finally pop out a bit. My coworkers were starting to wonder if I was pretending---probably watching too much Glee. It still doesn't look like much to me after looking at the pictures, but I sure feel the difference! I broke down today and bought some maternity clothes at Old Navy so I can be more comfortable at work. I can hardly believe we've already reached the halfway point. So far, the time seems to be flying... And on a really happy note, I haven't been sick or nauseous in nearly 2 weeks! I think I might finally be over the persistent morning sickness!

And a picture of our current "baby girl," Daisy, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I can't believe she sat still long enough for this picture, though I did bribe her with a rawhide!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
You look beautiful, Carol! I didn't take many belly shots with either one until I really started to show. Congratulations on buying maternity stuff- it's a great excuse to "have" to go shopping;) Your dog is really cute- Elizabeth was really excited to see the reindeer antlers;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're feeling better too!

Carol - you look so beautiful! What a special holiday this is going to be for you guys (and next year will even be better!) I remember that my belly popped around Christmas too because my students always said the same thing to me about not being able to tell I was pregnant, but after the holidays, there was no mistaking it. I loved every second of my growing belly. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou look SOOOO adorable, Carol! I can tell you're so excited :) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years (even though it looks like you were drowning in snow!). I <3 the blog...can't wait to see pics of the baby's room and more belly pics! :) I'm glad you're finally feeling better...you can enjoy the pregnancy much more when you aren't nauseous ;)
