Dropsies

For the last couple months, I've had a case of the "dropsies." I drop everything--my coworkers know better than to hand me anything, I dropped and broke our recently fixed camera (Andrew broke it the first time around, but I did it in), and, finally a good drop--baby has dropped! I still want her to wait a couple more weeks to give me time to prepare at work and at home, and I'm waiting for our new camera to arrive in the mail. Otherwise I'll be making Andrew stop at Wal Mart on our way to the hospital!

Nesting: I thought I'd be ok if I tried to clean and organize a little every week as I go. I never imagined nesting to make me so....crazy. I suddenly found the energy to scrub my house clean after I get home from work. I don't know where the energy comes from since, up until recently, I was feeling tired and worn out again, but now, a long day at work hardly keeps me down! I can go until I just drop into bed.

Leg cramps: The one thing that has interrupted the nesting. It started last week when a calf cramp woke me in the middle of the night. First it was one leg, then after a few days, it was the other, and each one took more than a day for the soreness to clear. I just tell myself it's another sign that I'm nearing the end!

And I realized that for my 30th birthday, I also became 37 weeks pregnant, with only 3 weeks to go until my due date. =) I couldn't ask for a better gift! How weird it is to think I'm no longer a twenty-something year old...but I'm looking forward to an exciting year!

I can't wait for the long holiday weekend with this beautiful weather. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!
