Timing

I promise I'll try to get better about updating the blog as the time gets closer. I can't believe my pregnancy countdown is now under 40 days. =) Right now, I feel like I just keep getting bigger and slower. We're getting closer to ready, but so much has been keeping us otherwise occupied.

Some of you know that for more than a year now (you could even say since before the restaurant closed), we've been plodding along with planning a new business. We've looked at countless places for the business, then decided Andrew would have to live out of the garage in the meantime since he plans to stay home with the baby when I go back to work. So we put a lift into the garage. (Someday I'd really LOVE to park my car in the garage). Over the last couple months, things have picked up for him to the point he needs another lift, and he's getting overwhelmed, which is a good problem to have.

Then our realtor called wanting us to look at a place that she thought would be perfect. It's only 5 minutes from home, and in a fabulous, quiet, clean industrial area. It's not currently used as an automotive repair shop (that's our business), which I like because there is no stigma attached, but the set-up is perfect. I thought we'd wait until after the baby comes, but things just happen, and it all came together too easily. Perhaps it's God's timing, why not let everything happen all at once!??....and it has certainly added to our to do list! Nothing is finalized as we must first apply for a Special Use permit, which I hope will go through without a problem. One of us will have to meet with the board, hopefully at the next meeting which is the 2nd Tuesday in April....soooo....we'll see if baby cooperates. :) We're praying that everything continues to come together smoothly.

That's just one more reason why I've been bad about blogging! When I'm online at home anymore, it's to do research. I'm sure when our little girl comes, we'll be ready and not scrambling TOO much for last minute things. Haha! This does mean we may be taking a trip down to Indy for equipment--so perhaps we can get together with anyone who is in the area. I'll let you know!

Until then...I'll keep up my little countdown! I hope everyone is well, and have a happy St. Patrick's Day!
