Alice & Straw

At Emma's most recent doctor visit, she was 14 lbs 10 ounces (25%) and 28 1/2 inches long (97%)! She is very long, and we continue to wonder where the long gene came from! She's now seven months old, I wonder where the time has gone! Like everyone else, we've been staying busy. We had our first snow yesterday, and about an inch actually stuck to the ground. I'm just not ready for it yet! Emma is lucky that she didn't have to venture out in it yesterday.

For Halloween, she dressed up as a pink cat---thanks for the costume, Grandma & Papaw!

We took her into downtown Buchanan to take pictures with the Scarecrows. This year, they had an Alice in Wonderland theme.





And I have to share a picture of our new trash can. I love that it's pink! A local garbage company offered these pink cans, and the company donates money to the American Cancer Society for every transaction. The bright color is just a bonus!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween, and we're looking forward to Thanksgiving (and to the long weekend that comes with it)!
