It's Time

Emma's scheduled to get tubes in her ears tomorrow morning. I wish we didn't have to, but everyone tells me we'll love them. The poor thing has been suffering from an ear infection every month since the fall. The most recent was just a week ago, so we'll finish up another antibiotic today. I hate how often she has been on antibiotics, and the last round made her gums bleed so easily that I couldn't brush her teeth without causing her discomfort. I know having her in daycare doesn't help, but what else can we do? It seems that tubes will be our answer.

Hopefully after tomorrow, she'll be much more healthy and happy! Then mom and dad won't have to be paranoid every time she seems to be getting sick. We started running her to the doctor every time she spiked any kind of fever---and we were only wrong once. =(

Emma still loves a basket of clean laundry

I was trying to get a picture of her adorable hair. The ladies at daycare do such cute things to it, but I can't get her to sit still for me to try.

But then, I don't think I'd be that good with her hair.

Emma put her baby in the corner. I just don't know what to do with her sometimes! I've tried time out in several different spots--found her smiling and enjoying herself--but the corner seems to work. SOMETIMES. Once so far she enjoyed that, too! Arg!
