Back to School

Classes just started this week, and while I haven't really had a summer break, I'm staying busy at work with graduating students from last semester and getting everyone started this week!  I've been busy making some tough decisions about work, learning my supervisor's job while training others to do mine while I'm gone.  Time flies, and I forget about Facebook and the blog...  I can hardly believe I have just under 90 days now until my due date!  The time has flown by with this pregnancy more so than I remember with Emma.  Everything is going well, and I can't complain except for the usual aches and leg cramps of pregnancy.

Emma will soon be moving up into the preschool at daycare.  I can't even imagine her no longer being in the baby/toddler room.  She's such a mama's girl that I worry how the transition will go with a newborn, and I worry about having enough time with her when there is a newborn in the house.  She understands babies and helps with them at daycare, but it will be different when there is a baby demanding her mom's attention.

I uploaded a few pictures of our last couple months..

Coming down the last little hurdle with daddy!

We bought a little Chinese paper lantern, and she decided it went on top of her head!

We moved Emma into her own bed a couple months ago, and this is a picture of her after the first night. She has adjusted well...but she still will not get in and out of the bed by herself, she calls for one of us to help.  I was worried she would be up every night trying to get into our bed!

Watching Mickey Mouse with her new Minnie.

Now comes our countdown!  I just started my 2 week appointments, and in a couple weeks I'll take my last business trip before my leave.  And for this, I'm going to Traverse City!  I've never been there before, so I'm looking forward to seeing the area.

And Andrew was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea, and he just received his CPAP, so we're hoping this will make him feel better and more well rested since he hasn't been sleeping well for a long time, now.  It's funny going through this sleep study process over the summer how many people we've discovered use a CPAP....so I'm praying this works for us!  Anyway, back to work for me!
